May 2017, Adelboden (Switzerland) I still get goose bumps when I remember this evening. We went to sunset at this waterfall and also made a couple of cool photos until late. On the way back it was already very dark, we were together with Brennweite - Simon Kaufmann Photographie walking through the forest as we suddenly saw fresh footprints of an animal on the snow which looked bigger than a dog's, we were curious and took a couple of photos. While photographing I heard a sound like a growl! We first thought it was a airplane that were passing by and then we heard these sounds 2 or 3 more times, then we knew this was not an airplane! I was looking around and as I turned my head on the right side, I saw with my forehead lamp about 30m away from us two eyes in the dark, they shone gold and red and were too far apart to be a cat or something small. We walked about 10 minutes through the forest and looked around again and again, we were curious and had fear... When we were in the car we searched on internet for the footprints and afterwards we were quite sure that it was a wolf or even several... I will definitely be more careful when I walk through the forests during the night in the future...
